Extra large geta sandals made from comfortable cypress wood!
Beams Japan has commissioned the production of these geta sandals by Special order BEAMS JAPAN, a geta manufacturer in Hita city, Oita prefecture.
The oval cypress wood base creates a smooth curve that fits the sole of the foot, and the unpainted natural cypress is comfortable to wear and gives you a sense of the warmth of the wood. The outsole is equipped with a "BIRKENSTOCK" sole that is moderately cushioned, non-slip, and resistant to wear.
The thongs are made from traditional Japanese cotton fabric, which is soft and cushioned, and fits your feet better the more you wear them.
Sandals are now more comfortable to wear and easier to walk in, and are no longer called geta but "geta sandals," an evolution of traditional Japanese footwear.
