Update a classic shirt with functional materials
■ Design
This BEAMS PLUS button-down shirt is made from COOLMAX(R), a material that is sweat-absorbent, quick-drying, and breathable, and is soft to the touch.
■Details
Based on an American button-down shirt produced in the 1960s, it features a V-stitched left chest pocket and a collar designed for on/off wear. The side seams are narrow (3mm) with a lock stitch, and the overall number of stitches is set at 18 per 3cm for balance. All processes are completed by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The bottoms of both sides have a + mark bar closure, which is a typical BEAMS PLUS accent.

Using an orthodox pattern that is not influenced by trends, this versatile silhouette can be used in a variety of situations.
■ Material
By blending "COOLMAX(R)" with cotton, we have improved sweat absorption, quick drying and breathability while retaining the natural texture. This material is suitable for the humid and hot Japanese summer.
