■Details
Based on an American button-down shirt produced in the 1960s, it features a V-stitched left chest pocket and a collar shape designed for on/off wear. The side seams are narrow (3mm) and the overall number of stitches is set at 18 per 3cm for balance. All processes, including pattern matching, are completed by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The bottoms of both sides have a + mark bar closure, which is a typical BEAMS PLUS accent.

■Size
The pattern is loose in both width and length, creating a relaxed feel.

■ Material
A fabric that is woven to express a pattern using warp threads (and sometimes both weft threads) that are partially tied and resist-dyed. In Japan, it is called ``kasuri'' and in Indonesian, it is also called ``ikat.''
