BEAMS PLUS button-down shirts made at a textile factory in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's leading producers of shirt fabric. Made of classic rope-dyed denim fabric, this fabric will fade over time.
The pattern is based on American-made button-down shirts produced in the 1960s, with narrow (3mm) lockstitching for the side seams and 18 stitches (3cm intervals) for the overall sewing. .
All processes are completed by skilled craftsmen at factories in Japan. The hem on both sides has + mark hooks as a focal point, giving it a typical BEAMS PLUS accent.
