[Pre-release] Reconstructing the future of post-classical music!
This is a reinterpretation of the second album by Kiasmos, an electronic unit formed by Olafur Arnalds, a leading Icelandic composer in the post-classical genre, and Janus Rasmussen of the electro-pop band Bloodgroup.
Together with label owner Robert Raths, he enlisted the help of longtime friend and composer Alex Somers, producer/multi-instrumentalist duo Rachika Nayar & Nina Keith, as well as Kjartan Holm and Sin Fang, to rework all the tracks on the album.
It has transformed into a work filled with a dreamlike afterglow, like the feeling you get after the heat of the dance floor has subsided and the lights have gone down.
