16. Being asked by someone with good taste, "Where did you get those socks?"
I have a typical foot shape that is difficult to choose shoes for: high arch, wide feet, and short toes.
I've always struggled to choose socks, and I've worn socks from various brands in the past, but I was wondering if there were any other stylish socks out there, and that's when I came across <omo design>.
Upon inquiry, it was explained that they use a high-gauge machine with a gauge of 240N for men's socks (gauge is a unit that represents the coarseness or fineness of the knit fabric, expressed by the number of needles "N" on the knitting machine), and that even though they use a variety of colors and patterns, the toe area is finished with no bulk at all by picking up each individual stitch and hand-linking. Furthermore, they use 84/2 Egyptian cotton, which has long fibers, giving it a silky luster and strength. Socks have a part called the "gore line" that forms the toe and heel, and by making this line longer and increasing the surface area of the toe and heel, the socks firmly wrap around the foot and prevent slipping, and these socks do not overlook this, providing a secure hold for the toes and heels.
When you hear this, you would normally think of chic dress socks, but omo design has a lot of pop patterns that you don't see in regular socks, and I fell in love with them at first sight. No further explanation is needed. These socks perfectly meet my rules.
