The Domus Chair is considered a masterpiece of modern furniture design.
Designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for the student accommodation Domus Academica in Helsinki.

The highly acclaimed Domus chair came to be known as the "Finn Chair" as a representative chair of Finland.
We pursue designs that are comfortable and reduce fatigue even when sitting for long periods of time, such as seats that curve in three dimensions and conform to the human body.

The distinctive, small armrests are designed to make it easier to pull the chair closer to the table while still providing adequate armrests.

Inspired by the different combinations of materials found in archives, the Domus chair is a combination of cherry and birch. A special item that allows you to enjoy the contrast between natural lacquered birch wood and honey stained cherry wood.

■ Requests upon arrival of product
