These monk strap shoes feature an open lacing system and are made using a loafer last. The square shape, which extends from the nose to the toe, is striking. The beautifully handmade moccasins, stitched with the last in place, exude a sense of luxury. The upper is made of high-quality "SUPER BUCK" suede from the long-established British tannery, Charles F. Stead. The fine texture and short nap are clearly of superior quality. The small gold buckle, which stands out against the sophisticated green reminiscent of Loden cloth, is a nice accent to this pair of shoes.
