■ Design
The design is based on the ``GEL-KAYANO 14,'' which won the ``INTERNATIONAL Editor's Choice'' award from the American running magazine ``RUNNER'S WORLD'' in 2008. At that time, "GEL-KAYANO 14" was designed for the first time by Hidenori Yamashita, replacing Shunichi Kayano, who had been working on the "GEL-KAYANO" series since the first generation, and was designed by Hidenori Yamashita for the first time. While retaining the functionality and design, Yamashita's unique sensibilities have been newly infused. While incorporating design tastes seen in the 2000s, such as a voluminous silhouette created by arranging appropriate materials depending on the area, the GEL technology, which has a shock-absorbing function installed in the midsole, -KAYANO" series retains its representative functions and structure.
