Dear Film Project respects the rich worldviews and spirit of photographers, re-edits them, and creates art media to pass on to future generations.

■ Gen Nonaka
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1968. Photographer and farmer. After working in the restaurant industry, he moved to Minamiaso with his wife at the age of 26 in 1994. After the birth of his son, he took up a camera at the recommendation of a friend. He taught himself darkroom techniques and photographed the growth of local children in his elementary school graduation album, which won first place in the 2021 National Graduation Album Contest. He continues to expand the scope of his work while always putting family photos at the center. His main publications include "Love Meals Given by Nature" (Anonymous Studio), "Keiko Karube's Gentle Snacks" (Crayon House), and "The World of Alice Waters" (Shogakukan), which he co-authored with his wife, chef Keiko Karube. Currently, in addition to shooting for magazines and books, he is in charge of stills and videos for TV Asahi's "Food Sounds". In 2003, he received the Canon New Century Photography Honorable Mention Encouragement Award.
The purpose is to upcycle film photographs. We have dug up the photographs taken by many photographers with rich sensibilities and perspectives during the boom period of paper media (1950s to 1990s), and have created paper media that can be called objects by valuing their fragrant emotions. Masu.
