Material: Ceramic Mino ware
■About the skull tea bowl■
1. Unglazed firing ⇒ Shape the plate and put it in a kiln at 250℃ to 300℃.
2. Painting ⇒ Transfer the skull pattern printed on Mino paper (similar to shoji paper) with Gosu (dark blue coloring material used for sketching) onto the plate.
3. Honyaki ⇒ When you put white glaze (glaze) on a plate with only the picture of the skull remaining and do the honyaki (bake at 1200℃ to 1300℃), the gosu will emerge and the white glaze will be placed between the designs. What remains is a unique skull-shaped bowl with dark blue and white as the base colors.
*Each item is made by hand.
●Do not use in ovens. We do not recommend using microwaves or dishwashers.
