We will be holding a lottery sale of a Special order model ``Ainu Kokeshi'' made by Mr. Yasuhiro Sato, one of Miyagi Prefecture's leading kokeshi craftsmen and carpenters. It is a special design that wears the traditional kimono of the Ainu people, and is an artistic masterpiece with delicate and complex patterns, each with its own meaning, drawn using beautiful colors. Unlike regular Kokeshi dolls, it is not possible to paint them using a potter's wheel, so we have specially prepared a very small quantity of very elaborate Kokeshi dolls, each of which is carefully patterned and colored one by one as if it were a painting.
