TRIPSTER, which handles domestic and international store design and architectural direction, has once again teamed up with Dickies to release new collaboration items.
The two met back in 2018. The project, which claims to be "Dickies for men's clothing," was created from the perspective of, ``If you're a man, there will suddenly be situations in your daily life where you have to wear a suit.Have you ever felt like you don't want to wear a tight suit at such times?'' , a casual reinterpretation of formal style. The spacious silhouette allows for sweatwear, creating new options for your feet, and pioneering a new frontier for dress-up and workwear.
The latest collaboration, now in its fifth edition, changes the jacket and trousers "suit" released in the past to a half-lined lining, making it possible to wear it across seasons. In addition, the fabric is made of polyester wool serge fabric that has an elegant look and smooth feel, and has been updated to be more suit-like than ever before, such as by placing a pocket on the chest.
The "black/gold" collaboration tag attached to the top of the jacket's pocket flap has a hand-sewn 4-point fastening. This is a detail that shows TRIPSTER 's attention to detail so that it can be easily removed when you want to wear it more formally. (*Please note that once the tag name is removed, it cannot be restored.)
And for three days from February 4th (Saturday) to February 6th (Monday), "BEAMS Harajuku" will hold a custom name embroidery event to celebrate the new beginnings of this year's graduates. For the first 100 students graduating from high school, vocational school, university, or graduate school in March 2023, a special name plate with their name embroidered on it will be sewn into the right inner chest pocket of the jacket for free. To do. Please note that only kanji and katakana can be used. We also plan to go on sale to the general public after the exhibition ends.
