Collaboration items between PWA, an apparel brand that is currently attracting attention in Japan, and Kompakt Record Bar, which is a hot topic as it is operated by JINMOO, a member of Korea's leading DJ crew ``360SOUNDS,'' are now available at FUTURE ARCHIVE. BEAMS HARAJUKU ANNEX” will be available from February 23rd (Friday/Holiday). <Kompakt Record Bar> has been attracting attention as a spot for "record bars" which have recently become part of Korean youth culture, and the eye-catching designs of the apparel they offer are gaining popularity.
This time, the designer of <PWA> himself has been into hip-hop since his childhood and collected records in the early 2000s, so this collaboration was linked to the culture created by <Kompakt Record Bar>.
The stage is the respect for "Y2K" fashion expressed by PWA designer FUTURE ARCHIVE, and FUTURE ARCHIVE is also paying attention to South Korea, which is currently the most popular country in terms of fashion. “BEAMS HARAJUKU ANNEX” has been selected.
The items are based on pants created from a past collaboration between PWA and FUTURE ARCHIVE. A model that shines with extensive pocket work and separate gimmicks, with a new camo design. The tops are based on PWA's popular anorak hoodie, which is also popular in regular, with a new pattern, and two special colors that are not available in regular, navy and pistachio.
Prior to the release at "BEAMS HARAJUKU ANNEX", a POP UP was held for two days only on Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th at "Kompakt Record Bar Ver.3" in Seishu, South Korea. The collection will be released in advance.
