AlphaTheta POP UP SHOP & BEAMS HOLIDAY PARTY 2024 at BEAMS HARAJUKU
AlphaTheta, the brand that has gained tremendous support in club scenes around the world and boasts the largest share of the global DJ equipment market, will be opening a pop-up shop at BEAMS Harajuku.
The top-end models used in live music venues and large clubs, the CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9, the mid-range XDJ-700 and DJM-750MK2, as well as an all-in-one DJ system and the DDJ-FLX2, the successor to the popular DDJ-200, which is portable and easy to use at BEAMS, were on display. In addition, collaboration T-shirts commemorating this event will be on sale in limited quantities.
During the campaign period, customers who purchase AlphaTheta products or PIONEER DJ products (T-shirts excluded) will receive a free AlphaTheta crystal USB stick. * Available while supplies last.
Additionally, professional staff from AlphaTheta will be on-site during the event to help with installing DJ equipment.
In addition, to liven up the event, we will be holding a holiday party on the first day, Friday, December 20th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The event will be livened up by DJ performances by KEN ISHI I, a legend in the Japanese techno scene, and young artist YonYon. Free entrance and a novelty gift for first-come, first-served visitors. Be sure to stop by for a pre-Christmas night out.

KEN ISHI I
Techno artist, DJ, producer, and remixer. Nicknamed the "Techno God of the East." In 1993, he made his debut on the Belgian label R&S. He reached No. 1 on the techno charts of the British music magazine NME, and in 1996, the video clip for the single "Extra" from JellyTones (directed by Morimoto Koji, animation director of the movie AKIRA) won the UK's MTV Dance Video of the Year award. In 1998, he composed the international version of the Nagano Olympics theme, which was aired worldwide. In 2000, he appeared on the cover of the American weekly news magazine Newsweek. In 2004, he won the BEST TECHNO DJ award at the DJ AWARDS held in Ibiza, Spain, becoming the world's best in both name and reality. In 2005, he was in charge of the music for the Seto Japan Pavilion, organized by the government, at the Aichi Expo. In 2017, he performed at the world's biggest festival "Tomorrowland" held in Belgium. At the end of 2019, he released his first album in 13 years, "Möbius Strip". The music videos for the lead song "BELLS OF NEW LIFE" and "JOIN THE PAC", the global theme song for PAC-MAN's 40th anniversary, were produced by video director Yuichi Kodama, who also worked on the video promoting Tokyo as the next host city at the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympics, and their excellence and fun drew attention. Last year, he produced the full soundtrack for Netflix military sci-fi blockbuster anime "Yakitori", performed a new dance performance "TECHNOH LAB." that combines techno and traditional Japanese art "Noh" (designated as an intangible cultural property and performed with shite-kata Hosho-ryu Noh actor Manjiro Tatsumi), and was an international jury member at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival. He is not only releasing songs and appearing at events, but is also actively taking on various projects.

He is the founder of the music label Peace Tree. Born in Seoul and raised in Tokyo, he is a multi-artist who is loved by a wide range of generations as a singing DJ, and plays a variety of BPMs freely with an edgy sound that is easy to listen to and dance to. He is also an active songwriter, and his lyrics, which he intuitively puts together across genres and languages, captivate listeners around the world with their real and powerful words that are contrary to the pop and addictive groove. He also works hard every day as a writer, remixing and producing in various fields such as Miyake Ken, Sakanaction, and Tamagotchi theme songs. While traveling all over the country, he continues to spread love and peace through music.
