A book launch event for Pilgrim Surf + Supply women's director Maiko Morita will be held at Pilgrim Surf + Supply TOKYO on Saturday, November 22nd.

"I AM BEAMS" is a personal book series that brings together the charms of each BEAMS staff member who has a deep passion for fashion and lifestyle. The latest volume, Vol. 10, "Made of love, made to love. To love, to be loved," will be released sequentially from Monday, November 3, 2025 (national holiday) at select BEAMS stores, BEAMS ONLINE SHOP, bookstores nationwide, Amazon, and other online bookstores.
This book delves into the "comfort" that Morita holds dear from a wide range of angles, including her lifestyle in Kamakura, self-care, inspiration from her travels, and her approach to fashion and work. It also includes many private photographs and quotes from people who know Morita well, including her family, friends, and colleagues, who share their own perspectives, carefully tracing the source of her charm. To celebrate the release of this book, we will be holding the "Made of Love, Made to Love." Book Launch Event on Saturday, November 22nd at Pilgrim Surf + Supply TOKYO, where you can learn about Morita's lifestyle and connections with people.
This event will allow you to experience the "comfort" that Morita values throughout the day. We will be hosting a talk show with Mariko Hayashi, the designer of jonnlynnx, who Morita spoke to in the book, and Hiroko, the online hip-up yoga instructor Morita also takes, who will also be mentioned in the book. You will also be able to experience hip-up yoga with Hiroko. To ensure you can enjoy the event in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, we will also be offering catering from a variety of restaurants with close ties to Morita.
Additionally, a talk show with designer Mariko Hayashi is scheduled to be held in conjunction with a jonnlynnx pop-up event at Pilgrim Surf + Supply KYOTO on Friday, January 23, 2026. (Details of the pop-up event and talk show will be released separately.)

Hiroko
A beautiful butt yoga instructor based in Nakameguro, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.
Combining hip-up training with yoga, she has developed an original method for creating a supple, feminine body. Having experienced the loss of balance in both her physical shape and her mental state due to age and changes in her environment, she realized that training her buttocks is the key to improving posture and self-confidence, and so she offers lessons that combine yoga to create a beautiful buttock.
We incorporate the study of traditional Chinese medicine and health care, and support the development of a sense of "connection between body and mind" through yoga and training.

A craft ice cream brand produced by the vegetable shop Mikotoya.
Fresh vegetables and fruits delivered from fields all over Japan. Milk from cows raised in a stress-free environment.
Instead of adding too much to the mix, we use the ingredients themselves and simple recipes to create our original ice cream, adding our own unique KIKI touch.
Substandard, B-grade, by-product, irregular... words and reasons that may have a negative connotation at first glance can be transformed into positive ones with the power of ice cream.

Maiko Morita
Women's Director of Pilgrim Surf+Supply Born in 1981, she joined BEAMS in 2004. After working as a shop staff member and press at BEAMS BOY, she became the women's director of Pilgrim Surf+Supply in 2017. Based in Kamakura, she practices an active lifestyle in harmony with nature, enjoying yoga, mountain climbing, and beach cleanups. Her dual lifestyle of moving between the city and nature and her deep concern for the environment are the very essence of the lifestyle that Pilgrim Surf+Supply advocates. As a mother of one, she is also renowned for her healthy and supple figure.
