POLO RALPH LAUREN 's JAPANORAK will be reissued as a special item to commemorate BEAMS 50th anniversary.
"JAPANORAK" was designed and released in 2010, inspired by winter sportswear from the 1930s.
This reissue respects the overwhelming presence and iconic details of the original while giving it a modern update.
The Japan flag on the front and the heavy metal parts faithfully reproduce the essence of the time, while the fabric used is based on the original texture and combines smoothness and durability to suit modern lifestyles.
The inside tag features a special label symbolizing the collaboration between POLO RALPH LAUREN and BEAMS, making it a fitting finish for this anniversary year.
The cap is also Special order model based on the classic POLO RALPH LAUREN cotton chino cap, with the flag embroidered on the side of the front and the BEAMS logo embroidered on the top of the back adjuster, giving it a sophisticated look.
This item will be available at BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku) from Saturday, January 31st, and at BEAMS ONLINE SHOP from Monday, February 2nd.

Store sales terms and conditions
You can purchase up to two "JAPANORAK" and two caps, regardless of whether they are from BEAMS or BEAMS BOY label. There is a maximum of four items per transaction.
Online Sales Terms and Conditions
"JAPANORAK" allows purchase of up to one item from each of BEAMS and BEAMS BOY labels.
You can only purchase one CAP at a time, with a maximum of three per transaction.
Please note that purchase restrictions and various terms and conditions may change without notice.
Dress code for in-store sales
Please come to the store wearing at least two of the following items: outerwear, innerwear, pants, or shoes from POLO RALPH LAUREN.

Sales method
We will use a lottery system to determine the order of admission.
Lottery application time
January 31, 2026 (Sat) 9:00-9:30
*Customers who line up during the above time will be entered into a lottery to determine the order in which they will enter the store.
*Entry is not on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if you line up early, the order in which you enter the store may change depending on the results of the lottery.
*If you arrive after 9:30, you will not be able to participate in the lottery. In that case, please note that you will not be able to purchase tickets for the day.
Free admission
After the lottery sale ends, there is a possibility that "free admission" will be offered if there is stock.
As soon as the details of whether the event will be held and the start time have been confirmed, we will announce them on the official BEAMS Japan (Shinjuku) store Instagram (@beams_japan).
