Soot-stained bamboo
These bamboo toothpicks are handcrafted by artisans using rare, genuine smoked bamboo. The bamboo nodes provide a comfortable grip and a distinctive accent.

What is sooty bamboo?
This rare bamboo material has been smoked for 100 to 200 years or more by the smoke from the hearth in the thatched roof attic of an old farmhouse, turning it a reddish-brown or amber color.
