This card case is from Matsuhisa Eisuke Kamiten, a company that preserves the tradition of Mino Washi, a traditional Japanese paper craft, while creating products that suit modern lifestyles.
Gold and silver thread base paper: This is the paper that forms the base (core) of the "gold and silver threads".
Sumi-nagashi En: An ancient Japanese dyeing technique in which dyes are floated on the surface of water to create patterns.
Thread lattice: This is paper in which threads are incorporated (sandwiched) in a lattice pattern.
