This short jacket is inspired by the work jackets worn by coal miners in the early 1900s. The original duck fabric uses an uneven air-spun warp thread and a cotton hemp weft. While retaining the rugged look of vintage duck, the material is surprisingly light and breathable. The design features a simple front with a single pocket on the left chest, and tucks on the front and back create a rounded silhouette. It faithfully follows the details of the time, including the sloping neckline, small collar, and slightly smaller tuck buttons. The waist can be adjusted with the side slits and slide buckle on the waistband. This classic yet modern piece combines American workwear with European vintage styles.
