The fabric is made of traditional Madras check woven in the southeastern region of India (currently Chennai). The fabric is hand-dyed, woven and sun-dried, giving it the lightness that is unique to Indian cotton. BEAMS PLUS uses standard 40-count single yarn, creating a fabric that feels light.
