These BEAMS PLUS painter pants are based on items from a 1960s store brand. From spinning to sewing, everything is done in Japan, elevating them into clean workwear that fits seamlessly into modern casual styles.

■Details
These painter pants feature a minimalist design, following the specifications of the early days of painter pants, omitting features such as a hammer loop and double knees. They boast tough triple stitching on the sides and back yoke, while also incorporating a practical tool pocket on the right side.

■Size
This pattern features a relaxed fit around the hips and thighs, with a gentle taper towards the hem. It achieves a balance between the relaxed feel of work pants and an authentic silhouette that isn't too clunky.

■ Material
This 10-ounce light-ounce selvedge denim (white selvedge) recreates vintage styles from the 1940s. Woven on a shuttle loom using uneven and slub yarns of USA cotton, the fabric intentionally retains some fuzziness, resulting in a lightness and rich texture that exceeds its appearance.
