Esteban Jefferson
Born in New York in 1989, this artist draws inspiration from photography and architecture, focusing on paintings that explore institutional criticism and street culture. Known for the contrast between meticulous focus and unfinished backgrounds, he has garnered attention for solo exhibitions questioning racial discrimination in sculpture and celebrating the skateboarding mecca "Brooklyn Banks." He previously co-managed "Canal New York" and most recently created album art for rapper Wiki. In 2026, he will be exhibiting at the "Greater New York" exhibition at MoMA PS1.
