Beams T Harajuku will be hosting a joint art show by ESOW, an Asakusa-based artist who has been active since the dawn of Japanese skate culture and has established a unique graffiti style that incorporates the chic of Edo, exhibiting his work both domestically and internationally, and Ferris Plock, an artist influenced by hip-hop and skate culture who creates detailed, narrative-rich character paintings that combine modern pop culture with the aesthetics of BEAMS T e.

In addition to exhibiting and selling artworks by both artists, the event will also feature collaboration items with BEAMS T.

The seven items in total include one T-shirt featuring graphics created jointly by the two artists, one trekking jacket and two T-shirts reminiscent of ESOW artwork, and two T-shirts and one crew neck sweatshirt by Ferris Plock.

■ Material
This luxurious 18.7 oz. heavyweight sweatshirt is crafted from open-end (air-spun) American cotton, a staple of Made in USA products. The air trapped between the fibers creates a plump, voluminous feel, while the moderately stiff texture maintains a chunky silhouette. The attention to detail extends not only to the surface, but also to the reverse. To overcome the stiffness of the fleece lining, a drawback of heavyweight sweatshirts, the reverse yarn is slightly brushed. This creates just the right amount of softness and volume, resulting in a texture that even sweatshirt enthusiasts will be delighted with.
