After achieving success as a makeup artist in the fashion industry and as a creative director for women's magazines, she pursued graduate studies in spiritual psychology and re-evaluated her career.
After that major turning point, he decided to turn his long-time hobby of pottery into his life's work, and chose a path of earnestly pursuing his craft.
The elegant simplicity inherent in her work is based on memories of her free-spirited childhood spent in Southern California and her design career to date.
In particular, the fusion of traditional Japanese design philosophy and contemporary Scandinavian style brings a unique, organic beauty to the works.
The director of Calling visited her atelier, and together they combined their inspirations to carefully shape each item.
