This low chair was designed by Japanese furniture designer Daisaku Cho and won the Good Design Award in 1964.
This chair was created with the aim of blending in with the lifestyle of a Japanese-style room and allowing you to relax comfortably. The seat height is 29cm, so you can stretch your legs out or sit cross-legged. The thick cushion firmly supports your body without putting strain on your lower back.

The combination of the subtle curves of the back and seat and the straight lines of the legs is attractive, and the ends of the legs are shaped like a sled to prevent damage to tatami mats and floors. Oak is used, which has a beautiful wood grain with a delicate and gentle look. The color will change to a deeper shade over time.
This piece of furniture has a versatile look that suits both Japanese and Western-style rooms, and will add an accent to any room.

Born in Manchuria in 1921. Graduated from the Department of Architecture at Tokyo School of Fine Arts (now Tokyo University of the Arts) in 1945. Joined Inoue Kogyo in 1946. Joined Sakakura Junzo Architectural Institute in 1947. Opened Cho Daisaku Architectural Design Office in 1972. Received the Kitaro Kunii Industrial Crafts Award in 1994.

After receiving the item, please unpack it as soon as possible and check for scratches or damage to the furniture itself. *We would appreciate it if you could unpack it within 3 days of arrival.

3. If there are any deficiencies
If there is any defect in the product, please contact the point of purchase as soon as possible after receiving the product.

■Notes about the warranty
If you contact us after a certain period of time, it may be difficult to determine that the damage occurred during delivery, and the damage may not be covered by the shipping company's warranty.
