2017 reissue of "Pendant A330S Golden Bell Savoy"
■ Design
Like the conventional "Pendant A330S Golden Bell," it is made from a single piece of brass without any joints, and is not finished with a clear coat, making the most of the charm of the brass itself.
Unpainted brass begins to oxidize immediately after it is produced, and over the years a beautiful patina will appear, revealing traces of aging.
It was conceived in 1936 for the interior of the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki, and unveiled the following year in the Finnish Pavilion at the Paris World's Fair. The warm, soft light emanating from its functional structure and the beauty of its form are a true embodiment of Alvar Aalto's philosophy.
This is a masterpiece that creates a chic and modern atmosphere.
