■Ryu Okubo
Using illustration and animation as her main forms of expression, she works on music videos, magazines, advertisements, apparel, and interior design. Her methods of expression change depending on the theme and her interests at the time, ranging from simple line drawings to airbrush, watercolor, and digital art. She has presented her work at solo exhibitions such as "Like A Broken iPhone" (2016, CALM & PUNK GALLERY) and a joint exhibition with Kenichi Miyazawa (magma) "GRANDMOTHER" (2016, TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS). In 2019, she published the picture book "Everyday is Fun" (Bronze Shinsha) with KAKATO (Chinza Dopeness/Tamaki Roy).
