Graphic designer. Born in Hyogo Prefecture. After working at Kobe Shinbunsha&Nippon Design Center (NDC,) became independent graphic designer. Besides, he started his activities as a painter in 1981, and has been working as a painter since then.

Born in 1936 in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating from high school, he began working as a designer in Kobe, and moved to Tokyo in 1960, where he gained attention as a graphic designer and illustrator. Later, in 1980, he saw a large-scale Picasso exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and began his full-fledged career as a painter. He uses a variety of techniques and styles to create paintings depicting a wide variety of themes, which are highly acclaimed internationally.
