Popular contemporary artist Tom Sachs holds a pop-up store

2019.04.10

Tom Sachs, a popular contemporary artist known as a world-renowned sculptor, will open a pop-up store for a limited time at the flagship store "BEAMS Harajuku."

This pop-up store is in conjunction with Tom Sachs' solo exhibition "Tea Ceremony" to be held at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, with Tom Sachs himself supervising the interior design and featuring unique items. It is planned to be expanded.

The NASA Chair used in the installation of Tom Sachs's solo exhibition "SPACE PROGRAM: MARS" held at PARK AVENUE ARMORY in New York in 2012 was sold outside the United States. For the first time, we will be selling tickets by lottery. In addition, the retailer will be the first retailer in the world to release a limited number of Tom Sachs x BEAMS T-shirts commemorating the collaboration with Tom BEAMS, and they will also be available at Tom Sachs' official online store. Goods will also be available.
