< BEAMS JAPAN >'s “favorite” staff
2021.10.13
``Biai Department Store'' is a community where journalist Yoko Kawashima is the store manager. Based on the idea that "'biasedness' = intense love for a specific thing brings brightness and joy to life and the world," we introduce the "biasedness" associated with "shopping with love," and we hope to bring people and people closer together. , is engaged in activities that connect people and things.
The theme of this event was "What is loving customer service?" and featured shop staff from BEAMS JAPAN, who have an extraordinary "bias."
In addition to displaying and selling the products recommended by our loyal staff on the first floor of BEAMS JAPAN, it is also fun to actually interact with the many unique staff at the store. In addition, for a limited time, we will be selling products from two brands that Yoko Kawashima would like to share with you.

< BEAMS JAPAN >'s “favorite” staff
Toyozo Fujii (1F)
After joining the Ginza store, he handled a variety of apparel from sneakers to tailored jackets in Shibuya, Marunouchi, Yurakucho, etc., and then was assigned to the 1st floor of "BEAMS Japan", which reopened in 2016. I am currently rediscovering many aspects of Japan myself. I spend my time paying close attention to things that are too small to be conveyed.
Tomoaki Nihei (2F)
He was assigned to the Ginza store and other shops in the suburbs of Tokyo as a men's casual wear manager, and two years ago he was assigned to BEAMS JAPAN. Japan is the best place where you can see not only clothes but also interesting miscellaneous goods and furniture filtered through BEAMS filters. This year, I started adopting a kitten (brother cat), and she may be more into it than clothes.
Mayu Kato (3F)
After working at stores in Kansai and Tokyo, he became a buyer for < BEAMS BOY >. After that, she took childcare leave twice before joining her current position at BEAMS JAPAN. Every day, I enjoy styling my clothes using my favorite vintage clothes and items that can only be purchased at BEAMS JAPAN.
Nobuo Yaguchi (4F)
He joined the Logistics Department in 2007 and was in charge of product management for various labels. Since 2020, he has worked at BEAMS JAPAN as a shop staff at TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS and B GALLERY. We will introduce you to modern Japanese culture, including art, design and culture created from Tokyo.
