2023.09.09
The Mad Hatter Niseko is a custom hat shop based in Niseko, Hokkaido.
An order event for this brand will be held again this year at "TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS" on the 4th floor of "BEAMS JAPAN" (Shinjuku). This is a completely bench-made item in which all steps, from patterning to sewing, are carried out by a single craftsman.
Based on over 20 models, you can choose from over 100 Harris Tweed fabrics sourced from the Isle of Harris in Scotland. You can also combine multiple fabrics to create crazy patterns. Furthermore, this time we also have a lineup of denim materials.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy making a hat that fits you perfectly.
We will also be selling wood-carved brooches from Kumayoshiya, which is based in Niseko, as well as The Mad Hatter Niseko, which was popular last year.

The Mad Hatter Niseko
Kenji Numajiri / Hat maker
After working for an apparel manufacturer and a gallery, he worked as a magazine editor. I started telemark skiing late, but in 2012 I moved to Niseko. He founded The Mad Hatter Niseko, a custom-made hat shop that has become popular with guests from all over the world who visit Niseko.
Kumayoshiya
Developing works with the theme of "bear". His production activities center on the ``Kumakichi Series,'' a wall-hanging type and brooch-type wooden bear carving, and the ``Bear Snacks Series,'' which uses brooches and accessories to express what bears eat in the mountains.
