We will be holding a screening of Yasujiro Ozu's masterpiece ``Good Morning'' and a memorial hall displaying posters, cameras, and more that trace the history of Ozu's films!

Director Yasujiro Ozu has continued to capture the Japanese people and heart in his unique style, most notably with the film ``Tokyo Story.'' The so-called "Ozu style", which refined his unique low-position technique, had a great influence on film directors around the world. This year, which marks the 120th anniversary of director Ozu's birth, Shochiku Co., Ltd. and locations around the country connected to director Ozu are collaborating to hold a series of commemorative screenings and events.
BEAMS JAPAN will be selling special collaboration items for this project from July to September.

As a special project during the event period, there will be a special screening of director Ozu's film "Good Morning" at BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku) 5th floor "B GALLERY" and a low-angle world of director Yasujiro Ozu. We will be holding a memorial hall with posters, cameras, and other exhibits that trace the history of Ozu's films, with a focus on photo spots where you can experience the film.
