The international poster art project TOLERANCE POSTER SHOW has been held over 220 times in 50 countries around the world, and the poster exhibition "TOLERANCE POSTER SHOW at BEAMS CULTUART Takanawa" will be held from Friday, October 31st.
The TOLERANCE POSTER SHOW is an international poster project proposed by graphic designer Mirko Ilić and launched in 2017 by New York-based Tolerance Project Inc.
The theme of the event is "TOLERANCE," and more than 200 artists and designers active around the world, including Milton Glaser, known for his "I ♡NY" poster, are participating. They are designing posters that address diverse personalities, not just LGBTQ and gender, but also race, nationality, age, religion, and more.
This exhibition is a joint project with the TOLERANCE POSTER SHOW, which will be collaborating with the LUMINE ART FAIR -My 1st Collection Vol.4-, which will be held at New Man Shinjuku.
BEAMS CULTUART Takanawa will be exhibiting special prints of the Tolerance Poster Show collection on recycled paper. Customers can order their preferred size from four sizes: A0, A1, A2, and A3.
*Recycled paper is not for sale and will be handed over after the event.
November 16th is UNESCO's International Day for Tolerance, a day to call on the world to respect and accept diversity. Through this exhibition, we hope you will enjoy the works of graphic designers from around the world who approach tolerance in a variety of ways.

TOLERANCE POSTER SHOW
This international poster project was launched in 2017 by New York-based Tolerance Project Inc. under the auspices of renowned designer Mirko Ilić, and includes the participation of over 200 renowned artists and designers from around the world, including Milton Glaser, known for his "I ❤️NY" campaign. To date, it has been held more than 220 times in 50 countries. In Japan, it debuted at Roppongi Art Night 2023, led by director Aya Komboo, professor and designer Matthew Waldman, and SAMCARA, the Graduate School of Media Design at Keio University. It subsequently won the FRaU Magazine Ethical Award at NEW ENERGY TOKYO and has continued to expand. This exhibition, which explores diverse personalities beyond LGBTQ and gender, including race, nationality, age, and religion, continues to foster free dialogue on creative expression through the practice of art thinking through posters.
