A pop-up shop commemorating BEAMS Tachi's 50th anniversary will be held at Beams Culture Takanawa

BEAMS CULTUART Takanawa will be hosting a pop-up shop commemorating the 50th anniversary of Hiroshi Tachi's debut from Wednesday, November 12th to Monday, November 24th, 2025.

Hiroshi Tachi made his debut in 1975 as the lead singer of the rock band The Cools with the song "Purple Highway," and has since appeared in numerous TV dramas and films. While he established his reputation as an actor in the "Abunai Deka" series, he has also released many hit songs as a musician, including "Odorou Until Morning" and "Nakanaide."
With the cooperation of his long-time friend, photographer Osamu Nagahama, King Records, and Ishihara Music Publishing, the pop-up shop will display a carefully selected selection of precious photographs from his vast archives, spanning from his debut to the present day, as well as sell five limited edition photographs selected by him (hand-signed, framed, limited to 50 copies each, with serial numbers).

Additionally, brands that pay tribute to Tachi Hiroshi, such as NEIGHBORHOOD, Hattori Pro., WAYP MUSIC, Ambient Shaolin Effect, and TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS will come together to sell their respective collaborative products.

It's been 50 years since their debut...
I feel like I've been living my life however I like,
I am who I am today because of my encounters with Ishihara (Yujiro) and Watari (Tetsuya).
Also, my encounter with photographer Osamu Nagahama, who is featured in this exhibition, had a big influence on me when I was young.
I would like to thank all my fans and everyone who has been involved with me.

Hiroshi Tachi

Born in Aichi Prefecture on March 31, 1950. Made his acting debut in 1976 in the Toei film "Violent Classroom." After that, he appeared in the drama "Seibu Keisatsu" (1979-/EX) in 1982, which led him to join Ishihara Productions in 1983. Founded Tate Productions in 2009.
He made his big break at the age of 36 with his lead role in "Abunai Deka" (1986-/NTV). He has appeared in numerous TV dramas and films, including "No License!" (1994), "Duty and Acting" (1997), and "7 Days with Dad and Daughter" (2007/TBS), showcasing his wide range of acting skills, from action to comedy and romance. He won the Best Actor Award at the 42nd Montreal International Film Festival and the Best Actor Award at the 42nd Japan Academy Awards for his role in "Owatte Hito" (2018). His major appearances include "Dangerous Cop" (1987), "Dangerous Cop Again" (1988), "The Most Dangerous Cop" (1989), "Dangerous Cop Returns" (1996), "Dangerous Cop Forever THE MOVIE" (1998), "Even More Dangerous Cops" (2005), "Goodbye, Dangerous Cop" (2016), "Eight Rangers" (2012), "The Great War of Archimedes" (2019), "The Yakuza and Family" (2021), "Light of the Port" (2025), and others.
