Advance sales of the latest zine "Hundred-Step Stairway" and live events will also be held.

A pop-up shop for the project "RAREMETAL," created by art director Tetsuya Nagato, will be held at BEAMS T Harajuku from Friday, February 20, 2026.

"RAREMETAL" is a project in which art director Tetsuya Nagato creates zines and apparel from everyday images and collected fragments he creates as he pleases.

The theme this time is "Hundred-Step Stairway." "RAREMETAL ZINE vol.2 Hundred-Step Stairway," with the theme of "Hundred-Step Stairway and Memories of Travel," is a 60-page zine made up of various fragments of images and short stories. It will stir the viewer's memories and evoke new scenery.

Images constructed using various techniques based on this memory will be displayed on the walls of BEAMS T Harajuku, transforming the entire store into a RAREMETAL collage artwork.

This event is being held at a special time to express respect and gratitude for "The Bicycle Day" which will be two months from now on April 19th. At the venue, "RAREMETAL ZINE vol.2 Hundred-Step Stairway" and products created in collaboration with BEAMS T that incorporate the worldview of the zine will be on sale, as well as an exhibition and sale of works by Nagato.

An opening event will also be held on the first day, Friday, February 20th, to celebrate the event. Enjoy a live performance by the unit Cyan Clair, consisting of Tetsuya Nagato and Yoji Nagato, as well as music selected by Hasegawa.
