BEAMS JAPAN, which has been curating things, things, and people with "Japan" as its keyword, is focusing on the production of leather jackets made in Japan.
Mr. Yasumasa Yanai is a leather craftsman who has created leather jackets and leather items for popular brands such as <Mountain Research> <BED JW FORD> < PEEL&LIFT >. We will be exhibiting a number of leather jackets, bags, etc. that he has produced in cooperation with various brands.
In conjunction with the exhibition, leather items from Mr. Yanai's original brands < SELL OUT > and <NEIGHBORHOOD> will also be on sale.

Yasumasa Yanai (leather craftsman)
Born in Yokohama in 1969.
Graduated from Bunka Fashion College Apparel Design Department in 1991. In 1993, the original brand "INSIDE OUT" was launched.
In 1998, he opened an atelier and shop in Ebisu. Since around 2002, he has been working on leather clothing for Mountain Research. At the same time, we changed the name to "SELL OUT" and developed the original. They produce leather items under the double names "UNDERCOVER" and "NEIGHBORHOOD."
