Check out the items celebrating BEAMS JAPAN's 10th anniversary here!This multi-purpose case is from Takata Orimono, a tatami mat edging manufacturer in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. Tatami mat edging, which protects the corners of tatami mats from friction and impact, is an extremely durable material that combines just the right amount of smoothness and softness. The design features the BEAMS JAPAN logo in jacquard weave and has a slim size that won't take up much space in your bag or jacket pocket. It's a versatile item that can be used as a pen case, glasses case, or makeup pouch, making it useful in a variety of everyday situations.

This "10" typography commemorates BEAMS JAPAN 10th anniversary. Inspired by the numbers on a 10-yen coin, the design is given a special touch with its black and gold color scheme. It's a dignified color scheme befitting the 10th anniversary.

In 1892 (around the first year of the Meiji era), we began producing textiles in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. After the war, the company became a specialized manufacturer of tatami mats and became the No. 1 market share manufacturer. Currently, we produce warm and colorful tatami mats and promote the appeal and possibilities of textiles from Kojima, a textile town.
