A special collection has been released by the international environmental NGO SURFRIDER FOUNDATION, NEW ERA, and artist Yusuke Hanai. The artwork created by Hanai contains a message about the problem of marine debris. The lineup includes items that express surf culture and a commitment to the environment, from caps to T-shirts.

This T-shirt features an illustration of a sea creature trapped inside a plastic bottle, conveying the message that what humans carelessly throw away is damaging the marine environment. It is made of 7.5 oz fabric and has a natural texture thanks to the washing process.

Yusuke Hanai
A Japanese artist and illustrator who has gained international acclaim for his cynical yet humorous and warm style, which reflects the influence of the counterculture of the 1950s and 60s.
His collaborative collection with Vans, which incorporates his philosophy of addressing environmental issues as a surfer, as well as collaborations with numerous global brands and works using woodblock printing, have garnered widespread support through his diverse forms of expression.
