The Hennessy Hammock Expedition A-SYM ZIP, a standard model from Hennessy Hammock, is a compact, packable tent hammock. It's a unique product that combines a hammock, mosquito net, and tarp into one.
Setting up is easy by wrapping the two main ropes around trees 3.6m to 6m apart. The patented asymmetrical structural ridgeline ensures that tension is evenly distributed throughout the hammock, preventing your waist from sagging and providing excellent support for a comfortable sleep. The flysheet (outer fabric) protects you from strong sunlight, and the fine mesh covering the hammock acts as a mosquito net, protecting you from mosquitoes and other pests. Its floating position also reduces the possibility of insects and snakes entering from the ground.
A zippered side entrance is installed on one side of the hammock for accessing the mosquito net. It can also be opened to sleep or sit on like a chair, providing a comfortable sleeping experience similar to a mattress.
