■ Design
A long shirt with deep slits down to the sides, similar to the Vietnamese ao dai. The collar is compactly designed.

■ Material
The fabric is made using Jamdani weaving, a traditional hand-weaving technique that remains in the Bengal region of eastern India. It is woven slowly and carefully, allowing air to be incorporated over time, and the patterns are created by hand-weaving the weft threads. If you look closely, you will see heart patterns, which are overlapping, irregular hearts resulting from variations in the tension applied by the weavers on the weft threads.
