KAKA KYLIN, a Japan-based brand created by Chinese designer KAKA KYLIN with the brand concept of "Vermeerist BEAMS fashion and art", will be holding its first ever pop-up shop at Vermeerist BEAMS.
The collection expresses the season's theme, "Zhuangzhou Dream Butterfly," and depicts the blurring of the line between dreams and reality.
As a Special order item from Vermeerist BEAMS, we offer a wide variety of colors of dresses that have been updated with an abundant amount of gathers and reduced volume of tulle on the sleeves to create a sophisticated and mature atmosphere. In addition, we also offer three types of headbands that are special items that can only be obtained at Vermeerist BEAMS: a gorgeous all-beaded one, a beaded embroidery that can be used daily, and a simple satin fabric.

The pop-up shop will also be selling silk shirts, dresses, faux fur blousons, and more.
There will also be a talk show featuring designer KAKA KYLIN, the brand's pattern maker Masato Motoyoshi, JSP gallery staff, and Vermeerist BEAMS director Tomoko Inuzuka.
While KAKA KYLIN is a fashion designer, he is also active in a wide range of fields, including displaying his work at "JPS", an independent contemporary art gallery based in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Paris, etc., which introduces the work of up-and-coming and popular artists from around the world. This will be a one-night special talk event with this designer and creator, so please come and join us.
This will be the brand's first attempt at a pop-up shop. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see the clothes and artworks on display outside of an exhibition.

The brand concept is "the fusion of fashion and art." Through the expression of fashion and art, we explore the truth of the universe and at the same time build a spiritual connection with people.
The season's theme is "Zhuang Zhou Dream Butterfly."
"Zhuang Zhou Dream Butterfly" is another name for "Zhuangzi," who is said to be one of the founders of Taoism. The origin of the name comes from the story that Zhuangzi dreamed of flying freely in the sky on the back of a butterfly, and when he woke up, he could not tell whether he had become a butterfly in his dream, or whether the butterfly had dreamed and become him.
