HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS, a brand that proposes "new and happy ways to enjoy the outdoors through people, things, and experiences that you'll want to share with others," will be holding an outdoor event centered around Mölkky at Karajan Square, Ark Hills in Akasaka, Tokyo on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 (national holiday)!
Mölkky, a game that originated in Finland, is a game in which players compete for points by knocking down wooden pins.Despite its simple rules, its appeal is that anyone, from children to adults, can enjoy it.
HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS, which sympathizes with the idea that "everyone can enjoy it," has planned an event called "HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS Mölkky," where visitors can experience the joy of playing outdoors through Mölkky.
The venue will host a Mölkky tournament called the "HAPPY OUTSIDE CUP" (entries are now closed), as well as a Mölkky experience event that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced players, and workshops such as making metal badges related to Japanese Mölkky culture. In addition, famous BEAMS staff members who will be setting up KOJIN-SHŌTEN in the B JIRUSHI MARKET will be selling products specialized for "outdoor play."
In addition, HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS will be providing a selection of food to enjoy with Mölkky. The four stores are "ONE POT WONDER," which sells pre-prepared foods that can be stored at room temperature for a long time under the theme of "a fun food experience outdoors," "SUNDOWNER TOKYO OMURETSU," which sells wrap sandwiches and soups made with sausages that can be eaten with one hand, "OSCAR WILDE / HOBA," which sells plant-based donuts and vegan curries made without eggs or dairy products, and "meme private sweets," which offers bite-sized vegan sweets.
Entries for the tournament have closed, but the rest of the content is free to enter and available to everyone. Take this opportunity to experience the fun of playing outside and the charm of Mölkky at "HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS Play Mölkky."

B JIRUSHI MARKET, where BEAMS' stamp of approval is gathered, will feature six of BEAMS' famous staff members setting up KOJIN-SHŌTEN to sell merchandise.
We will be selling a variety of items, including Mölkky-related goods, outdoor equipment, and clothing suitable for "outdoor play." On the day, KOJIN-SHŌTEN owners will be guiding customers.

1. "ONE POT WONDER"
"ONE POT WONDER" sells retort foods that can be stored at room temperature for a long time, with the keyword "Enjoy a fun outdoor dining experience". They offer a menu full of playfulness and seasonal flavors, including the popular classic menu item, pressed pork mustard sandwich, corn potage, and tomato chicken cream stew. You can also enjoy the popular Nordic cocktail "Ronkero".

This restaurant specializes in egg dishes and has branches in Shonan and Zushi, and frequently sets up shop at department stores in Tokyo and other locations for special events. In order to allow customers to enjoy food while playing at Mölkky, this time they have prepared a special spicy wrap sandwich with sausage and meat sauce that can be eaten with one hand.
