A comfortable light jacket made with Tonic Wool from Dormeuil, the world's oldest surviving fabric merchant. Tonic Wool is woven with strong twisted yarn, making it very breathable, and the hopsack is woven with this yarn, making it a cool jacket to wear. No lining or interlining is used, and the sleeves are unlined, making it very light to wear, as if you were only wearing Tonic Wool fabric. Many light jackets like this omit inner pockets, but this jacket is carefully made even in these areas. This jacket is sold with buttons attached, but only the buttons are attached and the buttonholes are not caulked so that the sleeve button marks will not remain even if the sleeve length is repaired. The buttons are made of black pearl. The luster of the black pearl gives it a very luxurious feel.
