BOW WOW and BEAMS release a new Special order collection featuring items inspired by mechanics and builders

BOW WOW, a brand that retains a strong 1990s vibe and embodies it through its own unique filter, has teamed up with BEAMS to present a new Special order collection.

This time, two styles were produced: a T-shirt and duck pants. The "Grease & Grit Collection" was inspired by the work clothes of motorbike and car mechanics and builders, which become torn and dirty as they work, and which tell the story of the wearer.
Using Japan's proud fabric-making techniques and processing techniques that have been the result of repeated trial and error, the collection perfectly recreates the rich look of worn-out clothing.It is a collection that is imbued with craftsmanship, and you can even feel the pain and passion of the builders.

This work will be available at four stores, including the BEAMS Harajuku Limited Store, and the official online shop from Saturday, August 30, 2025.

BOW WOW has given its own interpretation to duck fabric, a material beloved in America for over 100 years, and through the lens of BEAMS, has created a silhouette with just the right amount of room.
By applying different processing to each body color, including the crushed parts, we have achieved a realistic finish that gives the impression of a real builder getting torn and dirty while engrossed in their work. Of all our Special order projects to date, this one took the longest time to produce, and we went through numerous trial and error processes before it was finally commercialized.

MOTO RCYCLE PARTS COMPANY TEE

This T-shirt features a cracked American rubber ink print, inspired by a parts company trusted by builders. Each body color is treated differently, and the shirt is made from BOW WOW unique fabric (88% cotton, 12% rayon) for a vintage look. The meticulous aging effect only possible with this fabric results in a one-of-a-kind item with the vintage look the brand is known for.
