The design is inspired by "Hige Moji" (beard-like lettering), a symbol of Edo-period sign culture, and was specially commissioned from leading lettering expert Kohei Kamiboriuchi. This unique style, with its beard-like strokes at the ends of the characters, is considered extremely auspicious, symbolizing wishes for business prosperity and a constant influx of customers.
