“Chinkame” presents “Let’s get naked” exhibition will be held

"TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS" will hold an omnibus exhibition "Let's get naked" curated by the well-known "chinkame" photographer Keisuke Naito from July 3rd (Friday) to July 15th (Wednesday). Masu.

Participating artists include those with whom we have known each other for many years, some who are our fans, and others from various generations, and we will be exhibiting works created by each artist from their own unique perspectives, with the theme of ``nakedness'' being their specialty.

Please look forward to it, as it will be an exhibition that can be enjoyed by all generations.

Artist profile


Yasumasa Yonehara
Editor, artist. Her works, which are influenced by Tokyo street women's culture, are often expressed in media such as magazines, and she has been an instigator of women's underground culture since the 1990s. Since the year before last, he has been releasing works that he painted on photographs with the theme of bangs. A collaboration brand called "+DA.YO.NE" has also been launched.

Ryuji Kamiyama
Active under the brand "FAMOUZ" in Harajuku in the 90's. Since then, he has held exhibitions in SF, LA, Scandinavia, etc., starting with his first solo exhibition in Tokyo in 2003, focusing on live painting in places ranging from the street to the public. He continues to paint murals, showrooms, and windows in Japan and overseas.

Conix
Illustrator/manga artist based in Tokyo. In addition to authoring the book ``Ao High School Cheer Club Isn't Cute!'' (KADOKAWA), she has also created original goods and illustrated book covers, and has received a wide range of orders both domestically and internationally.

Sketch
Born in Hokkaido in 1973. Influenced by LOW BLOW ART, he began painting and illustrating himself. While painting and designing, he works as Holiday Paint based in a studio in Setagaya.

AUTO MOAI
An artist active in Japan with the theme of anonymity. The main concept is to use faceless humans to portray the relationships between people that are implicitly connected on the street and are difficult to visualize.

With the theme of ``Add excitement to daily life'', he is currently creating works using various methods such as videos, photographs, and photo collages.

Rockin' Jelly Bean
Started as a masked painter in 1990. After moving to the United States in 1996, he found a place to be active in the LOW BLOW ART scene, and after working in LA for 7 years, he produced the shop ``EROSTIKA'' in Harajuku in 2004. Furthermore, his activities have expanded beyond the boundaries of domestic and international, indie, and major art, and even extend to the world of contemporary art.

Kae Tanaka
Born in 1995 in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from Tama Art University in 2017. Influenced by Osamu Tezuka and Hideo Azuma, he has been drawing illustrations since childhood. Recent activities include Nogizaka46's ``Negiri Mizu'' script publication (2017), BEAMS JAPAN solo exhibition ``Kae Tanaka is Full of Shinjuku'', etc.

Keisuke Naito
Started working as a photographer in 1994. To this day, he has worked on a wide range of projects including magazines, music visuals, and advertisements. The series ``Chinkame'' in the magazine Smart (published by Takarajimasha) is now in its 22nd year.
