The 34th installment of the ``Fukushima Mono Map'' project being held by < BEAMS JAPAN > focuses on anthuriums grown in Kawamata Town, Date District, Fukushima Prefecture.
“Kawamata Anthurium” was started after the Great East Japan Earthquake, using a cultivation method that uses a “polyester medium” that has a sponge-like feel instead of soil. A distinctive feature of this product is that it reduces the environmental impact by recycling and reusing discarded materials. Currently, there are over 50 varieties, and the market is gaining recognition as a branded flower that can be produced stably.
At the event, please enjoy "Kawamata Anthurium", which is proud of its brightness and high quality and is available in a wide variety of varieties.
