Introducing the BEAMS Special order New Balance 1000

BEAMS has once again partnered with New Balance, with whom it has had a friendly relationship over the years, to release a Special order edition model of the “1000,” which was reissued last year after much anticipation from fans.

Since their founding, New Balance and BEAMS have pursued the authenticity of sneakers without being swayed by the times, and their joint work has received praise from around the world with each release, thanks to their free reinterpretation of classic silhouettes while focusing on practicality for daily use.

The new limited edition is based on the high-spec running shoe “1000,” which was launched in 1999 and received high praise in the sneaker scene of the early 2000s, and incorporates BEAMS’ signature design language.

This classic New Balance shoe features streamlined shapes and bold details. BEAMS pays tribute to this innovative styling with a crazy pattern that combines different materials for different parts to highlight its complex construction even in an all-black outfit.

The shoe is luxuriously made with countless materials, including sporty single mesh, glossy enamel microfiber, high-quality smooth leather, warm suede, and durable ripstop. In addition, the material placement of each part and the iconic N logo are asymmetrical, giving it a special three-dimensional finish.

In addition, the shoelaces are reflective to improve visibility at night, and as a symbol of Special order, the printed logo on the insole is in BEAMS' corporate colors.

The 1000 comes with BEAMS specifications that retain the outstanding comfort that New Balance is known for, such as ABZORB cushioning in the heel and midfoot area and Stability Web in the midfoot, but with a never-before-seen look.

This Special order model will be available at BEAMS men's casual label and BEAMS BOY label stores (excluding some areas) from Saturday, April 19th. BEAMS ONLINE SHOP will be selling it from Monday, April 21st.
