今まで意外にもご紹介できていなかった『GELCHOP』(ゲルチョップ)のご紹介をさせていただきます！

GEL CHOP とは物の概念を壊し、日常にありふれた見慣れたものを奇抜な組み合わせで新しい存在に変える立体アーティストです。いたずらを考えるときのようにワクワクとアイデアを出し、製作はひたすらにクオリティーを追究する 彼らにしか生み出せない手法でイメージを現実世界に繋げています。実際に使うことができるオブジェも多いのでインテリアとしてGEL CHOPの作品が日常に溶け込めたらとても素敵な空間になります。
GELCHOP
モリカワリョウタ、オザワテツヤ、タカハシリョウヘイ、3人の工作好きによって活動を続ける3D造形グループ。ハンドワークで、イメージと現実の世界をつなぐ、立体というカテゴリーのもと、多岐に渡って活動。パブリックスペースのアートワーク、オリジナルプロダクト、はたまた、玩具、農作物、車、建築、エネルギー、コミュニティーにいたるまで、“つくる”ということを“D.I.Y.”精神をもって探り、手を汚す日々を過ごす。
GELCHOP
Founded in 2000 out of the love for handicraft by its three creators, Ryota Morikawa, Tetsuya Ozawa and Ryohei Takahashi, Gelchop is an artistic collective based out of Japan producing some of the weird, wild and wonderful furniture and design objects on the market. Predominantly working with the theme of nature and natural living mixed with a distinct cartoon graphic style and trademark white fibre-reinforced plastic, Gelchop have amassed a cult following with design fans the world over while maintaining a strict underground DIY work process.
